Home Country: | rules in america limit the fighters In Thai/Cambodia the rules are much more set for the fans to enjoy the fighters as gladiators. Less restrictions. When the fighters get into a clinch they are allowed to knee strike & elbow/ forearms across the face in order to try and create space. throws are allowed from the clinch as well. The difference as well is the kicks are delivered with the shin not padded feet. Although I see that the influence of thai fighting has changed American events to start using more thai rules. So I see america has to step it up to compete in the competitive world of kickboxing. We have a lot of potential here as Muay Thai gains steam in America. It has a big impact on the MMA arena as well.
love to respond more with my input but got to go work the bag |
