Most of us, I think. When we first started you did some basic

stuff.

You'd pick up a lil here, a lil there. It helps to keep you

motivated and interested.

This usually leads to your first dojo. Then before you know it,

I have experience in Brazilian jujitsu, judo, and the McDojo ATA (I wouldn't call the last one experience but they did take my money...)
My friend has no experience outside normal boxing.

We tried this but stopped when he got hurt... badly...

since I have been in various martial arts my whole life I’m more flexible than he is, and he’s the type that has to try to out do me in everything... well lets say i can kick higher and do the splits a lot lower than he could and when he tried... well he tore something...

I believe I’ll stick to what I know and just strengthen my kicks/strikes…
