Weather they are right or they are wrong I love your posts because they are your posts. Speak your mind freely. I am listening even if I don't agree.

As to the footage of Jozen-Bo, you'll see it when I fight for money and that is the ONLY chance. I am on over 100 forums, no one knows what I look like. Why. Joemoplata's disdain towards me is a good example. There are a lot of people who cannot cope with what I am about...and how many guns in this world...Anyone can shoot and most of these people are not warriors, they'll simply shoot you if they get fanatical enough about their own paranoid ideas of someone else.

When there is enough money involved I will consider releasing my appearance in a bout. I don't care if I win or lose, I care about the truth (not yours or mine...the objective truth). That has been what I am after all alone.

So you have invented a new short hand writing?

Sadly once again from experience having great training of the mind usually means S**t, you need raw basics nothing fancy and nothing complicated e.g. like a whole load of symbols buzzing round as you try and remember how to block a punch.

The mind works better with less in a stressful situation

Jozen-Bo footage: see above.

I'm not the fighting type. I don't like to fight...never have. I had no other choice...again and again and again and again and so on. The fighting slowed down when I moved and stopped when I moved again. I am actually quite peaceful. However, I don't like getting pushed around either, so I can be bold and fierce if I feel I must.

If I go into the ring, it won't be because I like to fight. To me, it will be something far more important that that.

Whats to say that if, by the off chance, you do have a pro match and win, then whats to say that it wasnt the training rather than the spinny wheel?

Its Joe!!!!

I guess this means you will no longer be clicking on threads of mine...because you are a master of your mind! Discipline...keep it up! I'll miss your 5 cents...Do take good care of yourself!

I had fun, even if you didn't!

Hopefully you'll...I don't know...be happy!

Your always welcome to communicate with me if you want!

Cheers!

PS: This thread is about starting up boxing/kick-boxing. So I am gently prodding it back in that direction, because I AM going to start up and I am interested in what OTHER people have for thoughts or insights.

So I will do my utmost to avoid digressing into Joe-doesn't-like-me or mind portal topics. The portal only pops up because it IS the reason why I am beginning boxing and kick-boxing, so it is not entirely unrelated.

What an awesome display of passive-aggressiveness there Jozen-Bo. Let me ACTUALLY sum up this thread for you...you know, the REALITY of the thread. This, of course, means that you won't agree with it because reality is not your thing but either way this is the truth of it.

You asked or mentioned about wanting to go pro in kickboxing. People gave you suggestions and/or comments based on their experiences. You didn't like that, so you instead started boasting about yourself. So people called you out on the boasting, which again you didn't like so you got aggressive in your responses. People called you out AGAIN on your posts and now you are retreating and acting like we're being mean and trying to de-rail your thread.

You are incapable of posting without mentioning:

1. That you think you're a bad ass.
2. That you think you are unique.
3. That you have better ideas and insight than everyone else.
4. That you're just "misunderstood".

So we get it dude, all of your posts will be related to one of the 5 topics above so you can stop posting now. We get it.

Time to move on to a forum where people don't know you yet.

Very, very similar...yes. Only, you can always read these maps faster once you memorize the legend. And, since they are on a simple attractor graph, you can put that map on a wheel and spin it into a tunnel...which you can't do with a normal map.
If it wasn't for that spinning part, you'd only just read the information a lot faster.

I disagree, I believe training the mind is one of the basics in martial arts, as the students not only train their bodies, they train their minds to have new reflexes, to endure more, to push the muscles harder, and so on. You can't teach the body how to block if there is no mind present. Some, as you have noted, even train their mind not to distract them when a greater level of focus is required. No matter what art it is, it nothing without a mind and both the mind and the body are trained in the art.

I think you are confusing "training the mind" and learning

Yes i know that but you are talking about training your mind with a WHEEL!!!!!!! it does not compare to anything gained in an honest martial arts class. You should not need a wheel to be able to remember things such as techniques, there should be years of practise to force something to be instinct and sadly instinct takes repitition which can only happen in reality rather than using a wheel to try and cheat by learning faster
