I looked and I kind of chuckled when I saw, "Drunken-Wolverine-Ninja-Kung Fu". I am interested in getting the Black Dragon Ninjutsu one though.

The drunken-wolverine-ninja-kung-fu is great book, everyone who has read it has loved it, one of my friends even said it reminded him of Mark MacYoungs stuff. I got the name from an insult a "real martial artist" throw at me. The books on street fighting and it addresses allot of MAs.

I think Dojo Press charges $3 for shipping. I publish an updated version of the book which is basically the home study course handbook.

Sweet!!! A Ninjitsu topic and lots of fun stuff! I now have set up a tracking to this thread since I responded to it. I will have to look it over more when there is time. I will take a glance for now... OK, got a glance!

The name makes me laugh (I like funny names...their fun)! Its so funny I WANT to read the book, or least inquire more about it. What does this book feature?

This is a study book then? Can you elaborate on the training techniques it presents?

Basically the book focuses on the often missed facts of the street fighting. A simple discription of various techniques and principles of martial arts. Also there is a basic "laymen's philosophy" to street fighting psychology and personalities of assailents types. A few technques are examined both striking and grappling techniques, as a well as the principles included. The basic idea of the book is to give a martial artist or a non-martial artist the "inside view" of street fighting.

One (the black one) is yes, but I haven't done the video course stuff yet. Techniques are basicly the same to all martial arts, both striking and grappling, basic ground fighting skills. Some basic stealth, principles and escape and evasion training. The book also focuses on outlining training methods and drills such as multiple opponent sparring, sparring blindfolded etc. There is also the formulas for smoke & flash bombs and herbal medicines.

Hmm maybe Draven should start a thread on street fighting?

Mine are based on streetfighting and Tony's uses a reflexive-reaction system with S.P.E.A.R. I'll post this in General As well...

I find the OP to be a good summation, with the exception that it lacks mention of some of the more modern ninjitsu techniques such as those pioneered by ninjitsu expert Ashida Kim.

It also failed to mention some of the deadly single strike killing techniques, but I can understand why those where omitted. It's dangerous to be posting such secret techniques on an open forum.

Well I guess that wouldn't be that dangerous, cause we weren´t going to kill noone just to try that(I think). And that requires some training to that.
So if know something more about ninjutsu or some secret tecnhiques you could write here abou that, I'm curious about that.
