If you want a kill someone quickly, the poison will have to be ingested; eaten, breathed, drunk etc. or injected. The most commonly used toxin came from refining the blood of a blow fish. A few drips after it is refined will induce a heart attack and if not fatal will place someone within a coma or cause permanit brain damage.

That's assuming the ninja knew everything, which even they didn't. I doubt they had this kind of knowledge. They have, however used different kinds of shuriken (including ones that looked much more like darts).

darts were also used. which would be more practical with poison.
theres a wide variety of throwing weapons in the arsenal. as well as fire arms.

yeah, but before they had makeshift guns. one model ....i cant remember the exact name but it was sort of like a pistol thingy that fired a burst of steel pellets.

The anthrax thing I picked from the history channel, the blowfish blood is common knowledge in Japan. Getting a blow fish is alittle more complicated. But, not unheard off, plus various snakes, mushrooms and so one can be used to for poisons. You can actually make cyanide from apple seeds...

I've also heard of blowfish as delecacies in Japan. Apparently there's one part of it that won't kill you if you eat it.

In Afro-Caribbean Vodoo beliefs, the high priest gave a perso poison from a blow fish. It had then become so numb a low pulse, everyone one thought the person had died. Even the victim thought so. And when the blowfish poison wore off, the victim thought he was a living dead-a Zombi.

Most anything could be used to make a suppressor. BUT... I think that if the time came for a stealth fighter to whip out a gun (which, mind you is not the kind of sniper rifle we are used to today) then the situation is pretty much stealthless at that point.

Until the 1800 gun powder producted allot of smoke, the "ninja shotgun" as it where filled two purposes one it hit a small area and was disposible. Two, the smoke obscured vision and flash blinded a person at night. So even if the "buck shot" didn't stop you, you were dazed.

Also when guns became more common in Japan the ninja were the first snipers. Hitting someone at 200 yards away is tough now and is the record of this era for them. Now we shoot well beyond that range with modern guns and sights.

Only the blood, liver and kideies of the blowfish are poisonious, & i think the gonads. So if you drain the blood or do not cut deeply you can get the surface muscle without killing yourself. But, its rather difficult and only master chiefs will prepare it.

Yes but, thats the coma stage I was talking about and the brain damage I also mentioned...

Toxin to induce coma,
Lack of oxygen from coma produces brain damage
Brain damage person thinks they were brough back to like
Zombies are among us... lol Classic voodoo principle.
