Home Country: | Any Krav Maga type of sparring I have ever seen is the kind where they start you out in a situation and then you gradually increase the resistance after learning several joint manipulations and counters. I don't know if they do a kind of 'face-to-face, fighting stance, begin' type of sparring. |

You can see it in the clips on the Discovery channel site.

Home Country: | Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the Fight Quest host gets knocked on his arse by the first low kick his opponent throws. In the end, he tries to do a leg lock on the Krav Maga student, and the guy just punishes him with repeated heel kicks and stomps to the ribs and kidneys. It's painful to watch.

Home Country: | Krav Maga doesn't really have all that much joint manipulation. It uses more punches and cheap shots than anything else.

Home Country: | The only parts I remember from that episode were:
1. When the host was in the middle of a ring and everyone was attacking him with fake knives.
2. When both hosts were running through some kind of obstacle course where people would attack them.
It had a very "here is a situation, now get out of it the best you can" feel to it. |
