Hey, I was researching and I found that there are very few Ninjutsu combat videos. All the ones that have, so called, been ninjutsu. Have disappointed me with their weak techniques, these supposed masters have failed me for the last time. Now if you have recommendations as to where I can see ninjutsu applied. Please send me a link.

The reason you saw fakes is because only a fake ninja master would post videos of himself online.

what militis said is true, none of the serious practitioners of ninjutsu put their combat techniques on the web, but in youtube u can find several videos of Masaaki Hatsumi which are ok but are mainly shinden fudo ryu and takagi yoshin ryu that are not ninjutsu schools, just togakure that i think is also available.
Are you speaking of Choson Ninja? Maybe it's just a different style of ninjutsu and definitely not for you to decide.
No in combat, like an MMA match or something, I want to see it applied.
From what I here the CHosen Ninja was a Home Study Course Black Belt in the Bujinkan home study course. He added the Combat Ninjutsu stuff with his TKD & other martial arts back grounds.
Anyine know about that?

Why? I say let people waste money as they see fit. Plus, I've seen better material in some home study course then I have seen in some dojos, rare but true...

I've walked into USKA & AKA dojos and handed the instructors their tails on the mat. My old Shotokan Instructor broke away from the AKA because he chose to stick to Funakoshi's origional docturine. To me modern AKA & USKA dojos are watered down **** as you put it.
I know a 15 year old girl who has handed dojo trained martial artists their tails, who were 3 years older, 20 to 30 pounds heavier & formally trained. They were trying to hurt her, but couldn't.
Why? Because she grew up getting beaten by a drunken father, until she turned twelve and started fighting back. Everyday, he got drunk and everyday she fought him and lost. Then one day, she won. When she did he started thinking twice about hitting her or her mom.
Formal training has nothing on how much heart you have, and heart is what makes a better fighter. Heart is also what makes you a better person, style, techniques and training have nothing over how much heart you have. Most people in a dojo train only in the dojo, the guys who train on their own and train hard without someone else to motivate them are going to do far better then the rest no matter where their lessons come from.
The guys who make Karate look like *@$% are one's who are in the dojo & don't have the heart. You can teach techniques, history, forms or weapons, but heart is something that has to come from within. Without it no martial artists or martial is effective.

No, i wasn't speaking of Choson Ninja, i think his ninjutsu style is ok, i'm talking of oter wannabe ninjas in youtube and other sites.
In mma the only guys that did ninjutsu were Steve Jennum and Scott Morris, Jennum won UFC 3 when he replaced Ken Shamrock in the finals against Harold Howard. Jennum fought in UFC 4 against a boxer named Melton Bowen and won via submission(armbar) but had to step down from the tournament becaus of a hand injury. He fought again in the UFC in UU'95 and lost to Tank Abbot in the first match. He lost 2 more fights, one against Marco Ruas and the other against Jason Goodsey.
Scott Morris fought in UFC 2, he won his preliminary match in about 20 secs via a rolling guillotine choke(kuruma nage with guillotine choke). But when he fought against Pat Smith, he got owned because he tried to do a belly to belly suplex but Smith landed on top of him mounted and Morris received one of the worst beatings in MMA history in my opinion.
None of them were Bujinkan practitioners but according to some people Jennum had ranking in the Bujinkan but this is a rumor. They were both with Robert Bussey, Scott went with Bussey to UFC 2 and Jennum left Bussey before entering UFC 3.

I like your post, it is one that we should all take into consideration. I mean, what are we training for anyways? If not to win, then to make ourselves better somehow. If we don't develop our heart and determination then we are just wasting our time and money on empty training.

I know allot of Bujin people who claim Jennum was both Bujinkan & from Bussey's camp. Thats what they say everytime the UFC thing comes up, that Jennum was Bujin & that he had won UFC 3. I don't give it much taught, because I'm a street fighter first & a martial artist second and neither of which are factors in UFC type events...
Hmmmm.....????? Both were from Bussey's camp lol....
