Home Country: | Why do people write ninjitsu instead of ninjutsu? ninjutsu is the real spelling used by hatsumi, ashida kim, and even on naruto, but i see some people spell it ninjitsu, which i think is stupid.
what do u guys think? |

Home Country: | You are certainly not the first to ask this question and here is an old thread that discussed this very subject. http://www.martial-forums.com/forums...s-jujutsu.html |

It would be interesting to see some new perspective in an old subject. |

Home Country: | it doesnt really matter if u use I or U in ninjutsu....the Kanji translation is the same. so theres really no right or
wrong way in ninjutsu/ ninjitsu
but typically traditional schools will use ninjutsu. while the Ecclectic schools use ninjitsu.
when it comes to media such as video games, cartoons, movies, etc it depends you'll see alot of I's an sometimes U's
my take on that part is the creators of the show's knowledge on MA

Home Country: | People use the I because the americans(the whole continent) pronunce Ninjutsu in a wierd way, just like when brazilians say jiu jitsu instead of ju jutsu |

Home Country: | I think Shinobi said it best. The difference in spelling is just simple semantics and nothing more.

As for incorperation them into Muay Thai, yes. I've seen it done and it just depends on what you want out of the ninjutsu system.
