Ninjutsu Sparring
This is a video of me(2 kyu now, 3 at that moment) against Ezequiel(6 kyu now, 7 at the moment and karate brown belt). I was going easy on him until he told me to fight him a bit more seriously. I'm the one with the open gi. This is how a ninjutsu sparring looks like.
P.S. The screaming in the background is annoying, they were just messing around.
Aha... so it looks like most everyone else sparring.
Good koshi guruma makikomi.
Questions:
-Why no headshots?
-Why didn't the other guy do anything?
-Do you have videos of anyone successfully using the signature techniques of Ninjutsu whilst sparring (i.e., lunge punch, joint-manipulation based takedowns, etc.)?

Well no head shots because we were going easy on each other, but idk why he didn't attack me. While in the ground I went verrrrryyyyy easy on him cause he doesn't have too much gf experience

Regarding the use of the lunge punch and other "signature" moves, I don't have a video of that but one day in the dojo a girl that trains with us fought a tsd girl and she used the lunge punch on her and the other girl got KO haha. Well i have used the omote gyaku(wrist lock) to take someone down in a jutaijutsu(grappling of the Bujinkan) sparring match
Yeah, you looked to be going relatively light with him all around. He definitely had that look of a stunned deer on the ground, which is common with lack of experience in ground fighting.
I couldn't tell in the video, did he tap from the choke?

The ground fighting of the Bujinkan is taught in most dojos at third dan but at the dojo I train, the sensei decided to include ground fighting in the curriculum for 2 and 1 kyu and my partner was 6 kyu at the moment.
He was about to tap but the instructor stopped the fight
