I'm about to begin Ninjutsu at a school as my Tae Kwon Do class has moved... so... anyone got any advice for me?
What style of nunjutsu? Different people teach it different ways, if its x-kan they have a great deal of good concepts but their training methods are slightly off. If its Koga Ryu or one of Bussey's shoot off they do allot of sparring.

i dunno if your still in Israel. but the Bujinkan in Israel is pretty good some of the schools there also crosstrain in bjj and krav maga. if your in the states it depends.
if you have the name of the dojo an the instructors i can see if they are a decent school. some X-kans spar too.
but i have seen Koga come to visit X-kan an couldnt handle the training that we do and get roughed up by one of our female classmates so it depends

Like I said depends on the schools, our local Bujin instructor is a joke... But, I have some friends who trained other who are bujinkan who serious bad asses, it all depends on who the instructors are. Who were the Koga guys training under? I've been wanting to find someone who have experience with Rick Tew or Frank Dux just to satisfy my curiosity?

Then again, what I was asking was, how does a regular Ninjutsu class run... does it follow regular format, warmup, stretch, class lesson? Or is it unusual.
I don't know anything about that. This is Israel; not every single school has a website.

Not really Hatsumi and Van Donk set a minimum standard but many schools add to that minimum. In most cases you'll start of with taijutsu and use that as a base for weapons study. You won't have belt tests until you reach black belt and sometimes not even then, the reason it that every class is often the test.

Like any martial art school, go in with an open mind, but also open eyes. Look how they train. See if it meshes with why you want to train.
Also, will you be able to respect the instructor? It makes a huge difference in training and there are instrutors that are harder to respect than others. Watch the higher ranked students. How do the interact with the lower ranked students? How do the higher ranked students carry themselves?
You're a smart guy. Use your smarts when you're there to see what is really being offered. If you like it then its all golden. If you don't like it or are uneasy about it then find somewhere else.

Last night I had a golden opportunity to jump into class. But I just didn't want to. Sigh. Anyway, I will wait for my training buddy to get back from the states. Every monday he calls me and is like, "Let's go to Ninjutsu!" So yeah... i'm going when he gets back...
Oh I am testing for next rank in Krav Maga this friday. Somebody high five me.

Young man, this was an opportunity missed! Goog for you, you're
only 16. You have to recognize these chance opportunites,
they're always unexpected.
You could have jumped in for say, half an hour then left.
No one can hold anything against you.
Try not to miss them when they come along. Ous
