Choson Ninja
Has anyone here ever seen his videos on Youtube? He produces many short videos that give insight into ninjitsu, and his KMA experience.
What do you guys think of this guy?

The techniques look okay but he needed to do it at full speed. Not saying it wouldn't have worked but the way that demo was run looked like a lot of other crappy one step sparring I've seen where some guy does one attack and the other guy retaliates with three moves. If he had done it at full speed then I'd bother watching it again, as it stands the demo wasn't worth the time spent loading it.
Looks very similar to things i learned in Kempo. Found the run away part entertaining. I think it would be more effective to move in and take away the reach advantage of the bat.

One of the advantages of a weapon such as a bat is its' reach advantage. If you want to beat something, you don't play to its' strength, in this case being the reach. Sometimes I really wonder where people get thier ideas for weapon/self defense.

If possible search his name on You tube, you'll get many different short lessons.
I just picked a random video. I'm more curious on your opinion of him, not this technique.

What do you want exactly as an opinion about him.
His martial arts demos are pretty good as Youtube demo videos go.
Something like what you provided. ty
Hopefully I'll get some input from someone with Ninjitsu experience.

I think the guy is probably an alright guy. However, you aren' looking at his stuff due to his personality or life views. I assume you are looking at his youtube stuff because you are interested in his fighting views and techniques. If what he is showing isn't valid then niether are his vidioes.

Sometimes I learn cool little things in his videos. Other times his moves seem over complicated which makes me question their usefulness.

Choson ninja or Greg Park is like the Korean version of Ashida Kim. he's one of those Koreans who make up fairy tales about aspects of Japanese culture such as ninjas or samurai originating in Korea.
his taekwondo and hapkido background is pretty good. but making up fairy tales about being a choson ninja brings in the fraudulency as well as not executing techniques properly mistranslating scrolls etc.
he's regarded as an embarrassment in Korea and got clowned by a popular Japanese magazine.
for full details on his case you can check out my buddy "scottbaioisdead" youtube clips on exposing him.

Sorry to pick your brain, but could you offer me some insight on Stephen K. Hayes as well. Thanks for the input

but when he first came out he was using the ninja gimmick. people from the bujinkan, genbukan, jinenkan and even the koga people noticed that he's moving very tkd/ hapkido-ish
so they called him out an thats when he changed the name to "dedicated to god" Karate (DTG) an called the style "nintaijutsu". he has his christian philosophies which are well meaning.....but people who've associated with him say thats a mask.

I hayes the real deal? I have read about him in Black Belt magazine, and even saw him in a movie. He seems legit, but often times the more famous MAist aren't necesarily the best. They are just the best at publicicizing themselves.
