Hello All,
I practice Bushido, Way of the Warrior. I feel it is my path (for there are many, infinite paths) and I have accepted it. I beleive the world today needs more true Warriors, people of high morality and strength, to look up to, to guide the world in such a way that can only be really seen in comic books today. Comic books do a fine job, but thier worlds are fictional and people need something tangible. Bushido is not a religion, just a way of life, Where one follows the seven principles, practices diligently, strenthens the mind, body, and soul. For those of you who are Star Wars fans-many of the ideas of the "Jedi" are Bushido concepts. To practice Bushido one becomes Bushi (Warrior) or Samurai. The ideas and concepts have been passed down through time in books [Bushido, Budoshoshinshu, Hagakure, and Go rin no sho] but the finer aspects can be molded to the practicioner's personality.
Enough of my thoughts...
Why am I posting this? I am not looking to "convert" people, though if some have more questions I will do my best to answer or point them in the right direction of the answer. What I am looking for is fellow Bushi, Someone to relate to, because, though I feel strongly about it, where I am now no one else really knows of it, I am lonely in this practice. That is all...

I understand the idea of Budo, but to be honest I never really thought about it as following a Samarai or warrior code. I try to live and act in a manner that allows me to look at myself and not make excuses for why I did this or that. I think its a similiar concept. While probably not in the majority in regular life, I don't think you are as alone as you probably feel. A lot of people still believe in things like honor, loyalty, correct behaviour, and such...though maybe not loyalty to the point of blind faith like the samarai
Ok, first of all, I apologize ahead of time for the deception.
While I do admire and follow to the best of my ability the seven basic concepts of Bushido, it does no go beyond that. To live the life of a warrior is my dream and to every man is his own warrior.
I posted so hardcore to get a sense of the atmosphere in the forum and to witness how many may judge harshly, as a sample, for such a post.
Honestly, I have found I enjoy it here, no more pranks, punish me as you see fit. I just wanted to get a "feel" for the area.
Again, My apologies.

Ummm, whattaaaa...whata? Either someone hacked his account, or he didn't like what he had said. How many people try to hack accounts for martial-forums anyways? In any case, I don't think mods have the power to delete accounts.
