This week in the NFL

I am looking forward to a couple of really good games this week:
Colts v Vikings, Jets v Pack (w/o Brady), Oakland v KC are some that I want to see.

Thanks,
Tom

Umm, you mean 'Patriots without Brady'. Although I'd much rather see the Jets play the Packers too.

Philly vs Dallas is gonna be good. It kinda pisses me off that Donovan can say whatever he wants but once TO says something people get all pissy.

I hate double standards!

Man, I've been so busy with high school football that I haven't caught a NFL game yet. And I'm really curious to see Favre playing in a Jets jersey.

I think TO brought that unto himself by criticizing all the QBs he's ever played with, even though they were all pro-bowl QBs. Donavan doesn't criticize any of his receivers even though he never had any superstars.

Can't wait to see how Griese plays since Gruden has labled Garcia as "injured". Poor guy (Garcia) has gotten the short end of the stick IMO.

KC vs Oakland is almost always a great game. Even though both teams have definitely seen better years, this game shouldn't be any different.

Philly v Dallas

That's a coincidence - a guy who is a Dallas fan just told me, about 20 minutes ago, that he thinks its going to be Philly & Dallas in the super bowl. It should be a good game.

Thanks,
Tom

Since they are both in the NFC, they will never see each other in the Superbowl.

They are probably two of the better teams right now though.

I hope Dallas wins. Philly & the Giants are arch enemies for years & years. Same division rivalry thing.

I'm watching the 2 Manning brothers. At the half - Vikings winning 9-0. Adrian Peterson is running all over the Colts. The Colts can't do anything on the ground. This does not look like the Colts of the past few years. Injuries are killing them.
The Giants are winning 13 - 6 but they left a lot of points on the field.

Thanks,
Tom

Definitely not the same Colts this year. If the two mannings meet again, I'd say the Giants can beat the Colts.

OK - so far so good the Giants & the Colts both won. The Colts pulled it out in the last 20 seconds. Now if the Jets beat the Pats I will be a happy guy.

Thanks,
Tom

OK - 2 out of 3 ain't bad. My little grandson - 5 yrs. old, asked me why the Jets lost & I said - "The Patriots were too big". His Dad & his older brother were at the game.

Thanks,
Tom

Cardinals are 2-0 for the first time in 17 years and Warner had another perfect QB rating for the 3rd time in his career. Maybe this is the year that the Cardinals make it to the playoff and win a playoff game, something they haven't done in ..... I don't even know when.
