Looks very impressive, but did anyone else notice how low he keeps his hands. A fight of the same caliber could capitalize on that. I'm not taking anything away from the folks he faced in the video, I just think that someone with fast hands/good boxing skills could find that they could land some good shots to the head on him.
His TKD skills look great and I am very impressed with how he is able to incorporate many TKD moves into MMA. Reminds me of a young GSP.
He is a very good fighter, very quick and agile. But since when did TKD include groundfighting?
Since always really, he uses some decent ax kicks from the ground. However, a lot of his ground fighting has a very BJJ feel to it. I don't think that he would have been able to incorporate his TKD into ground fighting if he wasn't so familiar with BJJ or similar ground grappling.

rather impressive for a first Dan.
If I had to guess, I would say that he probably got his 1st Dan and then stopped training in TKD to train for his pro-MMA career instead.
Lol face it, ITF has too much "Karate Style" in it after the Japanese Invasion in 1910...
You might be right, but I love it and can joke peacefully about WTF without guilt. Anyway, I will probably end up doing both by next year since I want to compete.

He meant that he would have lost every fight if he was a WTF(World TaeKwonDo Federation) fighter...
I doubt that he would have lost every fight to them. He does seem like he is fairly fast and fairly tough which might just be enough to prevent several WTF TKDist from exploiting the weakness in his hands. I think it might just be that he decided to work harder (train to be faster to cover a crippling weakness) than to work smarter (by building up his shoulders so he could keep his hands up and remove his weakness altogether).
Now, if this is a just post saying that WTF is better than ITF, I should seek to remind you that we are all bothers in Tae Kwon Do and must stand united against common enemies... like MTers
