What is the difference between first and second degree? I guess I am asking, what does it mean? Do you know double what you had to know to get 1st degree?

Congrats on your belt... I thought you had to wait a year per every Degree. So you would have to wait 2 years before you can text correct?

He means 1st degree as in 1st Poom/Dan belt(Il Poom/Dan), AKA the First out of 10 Blackbelts that can be obtained in TKD. So, 2nd Poom/Dan(I Poom/Dan) is the 2nd out of 10BBs
