North Korea is Socialist and South Korea is capitalist, the North Korean TKD is closer to the origional system. The South Korean TKD is more sport oriented. Here in the US TKD & TSD are treated more as hobbies.

I do force myself to work hard, but a school like that would weed out all the lame sparring partners I get.

Thanks, I think that sometimes we look for the magic dojang that has the secret kick, block or lock. But what it boils down to is how serious do you take your OWN training and will you do what it takes to be great.
