Round 3
Both fighters very cautious on this third and final round. Mike coming out strong. Yushin shoots, Mike sprawls and both standing up again. Ref calling for more action. Mike coming out strong, lands some punches but Yushin takes Mike down and has the mount. Mike is holding on tight with Yushin punching away. Mike tried to roll but Yushin keeps punching away against the fence. Mike turns over and Yushin has the back, punching away. Mike is in deep trouble and gives up his back. Yushin just punching away. Mike reverses and has the top position with a minute left. Yushin is trying to going for the triangle with his left leg but nothing. The bell rings.

Round 1
Plenty of action with both fighters coming out aggressive. They trade punches and kicks, clinch and goes to the ground. Roger has the top position and has Leonard's back and going for the guillotine choke but has the mount instead but Leonard escapes. Leonard now has the guillotine choke but Roger slams Leonard down and escapes. Roger had plenty of opportunities but Leonard is calm and avoids big trouble. Now, Leonard reverses and has the top position but the round ends. Roger has a small cut.
Round 2
Another aggressive fight ahead as both fighters coming out strong. Roger takes Leonard down and more of the same as last round. Roger is landing some good punches to the bottom opponent but Leonard escapes and hits Roger with his knee. Leonard throwing some big punches and landed one. Down they go as Roger has the top position again and landing elbows and punches. Both fighters looking gassed out. Leonard is taking some punishment but escapes and lands a nice right hand. Toe to Toe, both fighters just swinging and landing. Roger takes Leonard down with less than a minute left. And more punishment from Roger pouring down.
Round 3
Leonard goes for the takedown but Roger defends and both fighters just swinging punches again. Roger takes Leonard down and lands some punches. Roger has the side control now and tries to punch, but Leonard reverses and has Roger's back with little more than 2 minutes left. Leonard has one hook in, but not much action. Roger now reverses and punches away with elbows and fists. Leonard is taking some serious punishment. Roger trying for the full mount but Leonard is trying to last the round. And the bell rings. Great display of heart and sportsmanship, as both fighters hugging and holding each other's hands up.
Round 1
Both very cautious. Josh throws a headkkick but Diego blocks. Not much action for the first 2 and a half minute and you can hear some booing. Josh lands a punch, and another jab. An inside leg kick by Josh almost knocks down Diego. The booing is getting louder as not much action by neither fighters. With 20 seconds to go, Josh shoots and takes Diego down. but Diego reverses and the round ends.
Round 2
Same as last round, both ver cautious and not much action. More crowd booing. Josh lands a big right hand. And another one. Josh lands a high kick. Another big right hand by Josh. Josh is definitely outboxing Dieigo. The crowd is not happy with the way another round ends with not much action.
Round 3 It starts out same as earlier 2 rounds. Josh lands a jab. Diego needs to do something if he wants to avoid ruining his undefeated record. 2 minutes remaining and nothing. Less than a minute left and still nothing. Josh lands a high kick.. The round ends and Josh is holding up his hands high. Crowd is booing. This fight did not live up to the hype. Diego is hoping the judge is on his side.

Koscheck Wins!
I could not be more thrilled with that outcome!
Sounds like the fight was a letdown, but I, at least presently, despise D. Sanchez. He is beyond arrogant. I know that many may feel that way about Koscheck and they have a right to their opinion. There is a fine line between self-assuredness and arrogance. Koscheck tiptoes back and forth across that line, Sanchez is so far across to arrogance he is not even aware that there is a line!
I picked Koscheck to win and am THRILLED. Guillard and Sanchez both humbled within a day of each other... FABULOUS.

Round 1
Matt comes out punching, GSP lands couple of kicks. Surprisingly, Matt is standing up and trading punches with GSP instead of going to the ground. Matt looks pretty comfortable hanging with GSP standing. Matt caught GSP with right hook and GSP staggers to the ground. Matt continued on and got on top of GSP with full mount and the referee stopped the fight.
Matt Serra is the new welterweight champion of the world!!
