Round 1

Tito starts off with a high kick, then takes Rashad down. Rashad able to stand up, still in a clinch. Rashad gets out and exchanges few punches before Tito grabs him and has him against the fence in a clinch. Referee stops the fights to give Rashad his mouthpiece back. Leg kick by Tito, followed by another. Tito shoots but Rashad defends well. Now, Rashad has Tito against the fence in a clinch. Tito has a cut on his right eye. Tito switches and has Rashad against the fence. Exchanges of non-damaging knees. Tito trying to go for a single leg takedown but defended well by Rashad. And the round 1 ends with crowd going wild. The replay shows a punch by Rashad gave Tito the cut in the eye.

Round 2

Rashad dancing around the Octagon. Tito throws a high kick and misses. Now, Rashad throws the high kick and misses. Rashad goes for the takedown this time but Tito defended well. Another clinch with Rashad having Tito against the fence. Tito has Rashad in Muay Thai clinch, throwing some knees to the body. Rashad tries another unsuccessful attempt at a takedown but Tito looks so much bigger than Rashad and didn't look to be in any danger. Tito lifts Rashad up and slams him to the ground. Rashad able to swing and stands up. Rashad tries to lift Tito up to slam but Tito grabs the fence to defend and loses a point. Tito almost had the guillotine choke but the round ends to save Rashad.

Round 3

Both fighters more cautious coming out this round. Tito takes Rashad down but unable to work to a better position. Tito has clinch with Rashad against the fence but not much action. The referee breaks them up for lack of action with less than 2 minutes left. Tito looks tired but Rashad not able to do much. Tito desperately goes for an unsuccessful takedown. Rashad able to lift Tito up and slams him to the ground and the round ends.

All 3 judges score the fight 28-28. And it's a draw.

The penalty point by Tito in the second round costed him his fight.

Next up, the main event of the evening - Anderson Silva vs. Nate Marquardt.

Round 1

Both fighters very cautious, measuring for the big strike. Anderson goes for the jumping kick, and Nate grabs the leg and takes him down. Nate has Anderson in full guard position but Anderson is defending well from the bottom and even throwing some good punches and elbows. Referee stands them up for lack of action. Little over a minute left. A high kick attempt by Anderson. Nate holding onto Anderson's single leg while Anderson throwing punches to the body. Anderson reverses and starts landing punches to Nate's head. The referee steps into stop the fight.

Round 1

They end up in a clinch with Kenny against the fence. Alvin able to do a judo throw but Kenny able to get out. Kenny returns the favor with another judo throw and has the full guard position against Alvin. Referee stands them up for lack of action. Kenny throws a high kick. Kenny wobbled little by Alvin's punch but able to recover and take Alvin down. Kenny throws some elbows to Alvin's head. Kenny able to pass and has the mount position. Alvin able to buck and get out but Kenny falls back on guard position. Kenny landing some good punches, and has the side control. Elbows to the head by Kenny. Alvin again bucks out of that position and has Kenny against the fence. Kenny takes him down with double leg, Kenny has the full mount and throwing wild elbows and punches. Alvin taps out.

It was a great night full of action. However, too many fights went the distance. Unlike last UFC, where many fights ended in quick knock outs.

Still, very enjoyable from fan's standpoint. Keep it up, UFC.
