Round 1
Edgar lands his right hand at will early in the contest, connecting with three hard shots. Bocek is stunned by another right hand and momentarily takes a knee, but Edgar can't capitalize. Bocek gets back to his feet and shoots in without success. Bocek switches levels and attempts a tackle, but Edgar stuffs it and takes top position. Bocek turtles up to avoid punishment, and appeared to be rolling to escape when referee Jon Schorle stepped in to halt the bout at 4:55 of the opening period. Frank Edgar wins by TKO (strikes).
Round 1
Lytle lands a solid punches early in the contest before crushing Gilliam with an overhead right. The fighters trade low kicks, with Lytle getting the better of the exchanges. A wild scramble ensues and Lytle takes the top position. Gilliam attempts a leg lock but Lytle has none of it. Lytle moves to side-control where he locks up a triangle choke from the top position. He tightens the hold and applies a keylock to Gilliam's exposed arm. Gilliam taps shortly after at 2:15 of the first round.
Round 1
Back and fourth exchange of wild strikes in the opening minute from Gurgel and Saraiva. Gurgel landed the harder shots and snapped Saraiva's head back twice. Saravia shot unsuccessfully, but was able to pull guard. Gurgel controlled the top position and landed some some strong ground-and-pound. With 15 seconds remaining in the frame, Gurgel stood up and was met with a few hard punches, but it wasn't enough to steal the round for Saraiva.
Round 2
Solid action in the second period. Both fighters land well on their feet, but it's Saraiva who lands the better leather. Gurgel is hurt with a right hand to the forehead and a left to the jaw. Saraiva pulls guard and works elbows to the top of his opponent's head. Gurgel's face starts to show signs of punishment
Round 3
Dominating final stanza from Jorge Gurgel. He lands a double jab and left hands throughout the first half of the round. Saraiva connects with a shot of his own before pulling guard. Gurgel rides the top position and offers some downward strikes for several minutes. Gurgel went to his feet with 15 seconds remaining but he was not able to secure a finish. Jorge Gurgel wins a unanimous decision, 30-27 on all three judges' score cards.
Round 1
Nickels stuns Bonnar with a hard punch early in the bout. Bonnar attempts to recover while Nickels moves to the mount position. Bonnar bucks and takes Nickels back twice in the ensuing scramble. Nickels fights to avoid being choked but after readjusting position, Bonnar forces a tap from a rear naked choke at 2:14 of the first stage.
Both fighters coming out strong. Anotoni grabs and takes Heath down with immediate side control. Heath escapes and now exchanging punches standing up. Heath throws a high kick. Series of exchanges but no major damages by neither fighters. Antonio hit a clean one with a left punch but Heath recovers before Antonio can take advantage of it. Antonio is pushing the action with good movements and landing punches. Heath lands a clean high kick to the head that knocks Antonio down and Heath punishes him on the ground but the referee didn't stop the fight. Heath backs off and referee gives Antonio time to stand up. Antonio is still wobbly but Heath unable to finish and the first round ends.
Antonio is still hurting and looks wobbly. Heath throws few punches waiting to setup for another leg kick. Antonio is very cautious trying to recover while Heath hasn't done much. Now, Antonio is turning the heat back up and starting to look aggressive. Another high kick by Heath but it's blocked. Antonio takes Heath down and has side control again. Works it to full mount. Heath turns his body and Antonio has his back. Heath rolls and has the top position now. Heath backs off and the referee stands both fighters up. After almost a minute of light exchanges, Antonio takes Heath down again as the second round ends.
Antonio comes out aggressive from the beginning. Heath backs off and tries to throw few kicks. Antonio easily takes Heath down with side control. Antonio has Heath's back going for the rear naked choke but Heath holding out and gets out, and Heath now has the top position. Antonio now going for a kimura but Heath spins and gets out. Again, Heath gives up his back and Antonio trying another submission attempt. Heath rolls out and both fighters standing again. Heath has Antonio in a clinch against the fence. Another high kick attempt by Heath. And again. Heath looks exhausted with less than a minute left, Antonio still the aggressive one throwing knees and punches.
Hermes comes out kicking with the knee that hit Sean but Sean takes him down. Hermes had a tight grab on Sean's head that almost had him but Sean escapes and works his way to a full mount. Sean hasn't done much from this position yet. Sean decided to change his position to a side control. Hermes rolls and gets out of the position but Sean still has control and throws some punches to the head. Sean again works his way to a full mount, punishing Hermes with punches. Hermes rolls on his back and gets out.
Hermes comes out kicking, again hits Sean on the head that stuns him. Hermes had Sean in a guillotine but Sean was able to get his head out. Sean working on the ground, trying to move from guard to full mount position. Hermes times it perfectly and rolls to have the top position. Sean pushes Hermes off and got on top with north south position. Sean trying to work a better position, got the side control while throwing punches to Hermes' head. Hermes able to roll and trying for another guillotine choke. The round ends with Sean's head still in Hermes guillotine choke.
Sean shoots, picks up Hermes and slams him to the ground. Sean has the side control but Hermes is doing a good job of avoiding big damages. Now Sean has north south going for the choke but Hermes gets out and ends up with Sean in full guard position. Easily, Sean passes the guard and ends with side control. Hermes almost escapes but Sean shoots and takes him down. Sean can move to side control with ease, but unable to finish.
Hermes connects again with the knee but Sean takes him down. After few unsuccessful attempt by Sean, Hermes escapes. But not too long after both fighters stand up, Sean shoots, picks him up, and slams him down to the ground. Sean has side control and lands some elbows. Hermes escapes and tries for another knee again. Sean takes Hermes down, again with side control, and Hermes tries to roll out. As soon as Hermes stands up, Sean grabs a single leg and takes him down.
Surprisingly, Sean throws the kick. Sean grabs Hermes, picks him up for another slam. Hermes' nose is bleeding. Sean is just overwhelming Hermes for the entire 5 rounds. No matter what Hermes tries to do, Sean has been on top the entire time, changing positions at will, and relentlessly punishes him. Very impressive performance by Sean, but unable to finish the fight.
