The replay shows Dan was off balance that put him on the ground in the initial parts of the round.

RE

Houston Alexander is a machine and I hope he moves up the ladder quickly since he's an "older" guy as well (I think it said he was 37?). Not that you can tell by how he's pummelling his opponents. Very impressive fighter.

Bisping got worked pretty good and looked very jittery and uncomfortable from the openeing bell. Hamil absolutley dominated the first round, but the 2nd and 3rd rounds were toss ups for me as neither right really dominated in any regard. Bisping pretending he dominated the fight at the end was pretty lame though, even his hometown fans were booing him and cheering Hamil, ouch!

I don't think the results really protrayed how much Cro-Crop actually got worked by Kongo. Outside of the first round takedown and ground work, he did pretty much nothing and Kongo was in control and pushing the pace, hunting down Cro-Crop with repeated vicious kicks and knees, albeit a few misplaced knees, but at the same time Cro-Crop did nothing to get off the cage and out of harms way. Kongo had improved since his last outing, but he still has holes in his game that would be exploited by a better, more well rounded fighter than Mirko. What a bust for the UFC on him thus far, I know I've been unimpressed after all the hype.

Dan Henderson looked really good in the first round, but I think he gassed pretty early and couldn't do as much, but even then still gave Rampage a really good fight. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him as well. Henderson vs. Silva/Franklin would be a great fight to see.

Overall, I thought the card was really good even with the commercial breaks (although the main event was commercial free which was awesome).

Rampage is hilarious. When he said," I didnt know Dan was going to try and break my fists with his face. (or something like that) I died laughing. He said he was trying to knock him out but Dan's jaw was like iron.

Matt Hammer is a beast. I love that kid. Hope he continues to do well. He crushed Bisping as far as I'm concerned.

Good observation.
I think Houston is like 32. Not 100% sure. He may need to work on his interview skills though.

Bisping is a joke now. He got beat. Just admit it.

Disappointed with Cro Cop as well. The heavyweight division is now so stacked, he's not getting a title shot anytime soon, after 2 consecutive losses.

Dan looked great initially. He was the smaller opponent but his wrestling was awesome. Quinton is no joke either. He was able to work his way out of some bad situations and had better conditioning. Dan can easily move down to Middleweight and do quite well there.

RE

There was actually a post from one of the judges on another forum (posted from another forum, "Underground" I believe...) stating how and why he scored the Bisping/Hamil fight the way he did. It seemed like it fit with how I saw it. I'll try to find it later, unless someone beats me to it.

We should invite that judge over to this forum.
