Nakamura coming out strong with jumping kicks. No major offense by neither fighters, staying in clinch for a while. Lyoto able to push Nakamura to the ground and get the top position. Lyoto has the mount position but Nakamura rolls and scrambles away. Lyoto lands a great left to Nakamura's head but Nakamura isn't fazed by it. Lyoto throwing some bodyshots and knees from the clinch position. And a big elbow. Nakamura looking tired and barely holding on. Crowd is booing. Lyoto trying to finish the fight while Nakamura is desperately holding on. This round also goes to Lyoto.

Round 1

Diego comes out really aggressively and has John Fitch in a clinch. John throws a high kick and misses. Diego again going for the takedown but no success. Diego trying really hard for takedown but John is able to sprawl and defend well. Crowd is booing because of no action. Diego able to finally get a leg and has John on the ground. John able to push forward and has Diego down and has the full guard position instead. Diego trying for a triangle from the bottom and almost had an arm. John working from the top with rabbit punches to the body and to Diego's face. Diego again trying for the armbar but John able to move away and land some good punches to Diego's face. This round goes to John Fitch.

Round 2

Diego again goes for the quick takedown but instead ends up on the bottom. Diego scrambles away, stands up, this time able to shoot and take John down for the top position. John trying to stand up but Diego sprawls and puts his weight on top. John able to pick Diego up, spins and has Diego's back, trying go for the rear naked choke. He has one leg hook in. John trying to get the second leg in but Diego able to defend. Deigo able to roll and reverse the position and had the top position for a while. After exchange of several positions, John able to get the top position again with less than a minute to go. John throwing down rabbit punches and hammer fists. Big time hammer fists by John. Diego is cut. Another good round for John Fitch.

High kick by John. John tries for the takedown but Diego has the tight guillotine. John gives a thumbs up to show he's fine. John able to get his head out and the crowd is going wild. John maintains the top position and throws down punches to the body. This time, Diego is going for the kimura from the bottom position. John got his arm free and constantly throwing punches to Diego's head. Diego briefly tries for the triangle but quickly abandons. Diego tries to scramble but ends up eating more of John's elbows. Diego again going for the triable with less than a minute, but John spins out. Very close. Another attempt by Diego with 10 seconds to go. John is out and the final bell rings. I would give this round to John again.

Crowd is chanting for Forrest. Shogun able to take Forrest down. Shogun working from the full guard position. Nice elbow by Shogun. Forrest able to stand up, and exchange some punches and kicks. Nice left by Forrest. Forrest able to push and take Shogun down. Forrest lets Shogun up. Another good left by Forrest. Shogun goes for a single leg takedown and Forrest initially defends but ends up on the bottom. Nice reversal and Forrest has the top position now and they fighters exchanges punches. Very close action packed round - I would give this round to Forrest.

Exchanges of punches and kicks. Shogun goes for the single leg takedown. Forrest briefly tries for the guilltone but gives up quickly. Shogun from the guard position throwing punches and elbows but Forrest able to stand up, but not after taking some damage and his face is bloody. Another single leg takedown attempt by Shogun but Forrest able to push him away. Forrest's nose is bleeding badly. HIgh kick by Shogun. Unsuccessful takedown attempt by Shogun. Both fighters looking little winded. Forrest able to push away half hearted single leg takedown by Shogun and Forrest landing down some punches. Shogun looks exhausted. Forrest punishing Shogun with hammer fists. Another great action packed round and another round for Forrest.

Forrest comes out punching and kicking. Shoguns' hand is down. Shogun again tries for the single leg takedown. Forrest looking for a triangle from the bottom but Shogun able to pull away and has the top position. Elbows by Shogun from the top. Forrest tries to push off the Octagon but gets the warning from the referee. Forrest able to reverse and now pours down punches. Shogun holding on to a leg but Forrest able to stay on top and throws elbows to Shogun's head. Forrest able to land some punches. Shogun gives up his back and Forrest throws knees to the body. Forrest remains on the top position while exhausted Shogun just barely holding on. Forrest trying to pull one leg out for the full mount, but Shogun gives up his back again. Forrest going for the rear naked choke and Shogun taps with less than 20 seconds in the Third Round.

Few more kicks by Jardine and Chuck looks to be waiting for a big finisher. Nice right by Jardine. Chuck was inadvertenly got poked in the eye by Jardine's finger. Chuck pushing the action with combination followed by a body kick. Over the top attempt by Jardine but misses. Nice leg kick by Jardine. Jardine's face is all bloody previous hits.

Very close round. Jardine landed more hits. Chuck did the bigger damage. Too hard to call.

Jardine starts off again with couple of punches followed by leg kick. Jardine hits a big right hand and Chuck is wobbled. Jardine rushes forward but Chuck able to recover. Jardine lands more body kicks to Chuck's body. Another good exchange of punches. Jardine lands a lot of punches. Chuck eating a lot of leg kicks. Jardine scoring a lot of points. Chuck's left side is looking bright red. Jardine looking tired with his arms down. Chuck starting to land some punches.

Another leg kick by Jardine. And a left hook. Again with the leg kick. Chuck just waiting for the right timing. Big right hand by Chuck. Another leg kick followed by left hook, Jardine. Chuck trying to get something going but Jardine ducks out well and follows up with leg kicks and punches. Jardine lands a right, followed by a leg kick, and another left hook. Chuck lands a body shot. It's not looking good for the former champ. Nice uppercut by Chuck with 20 seconds. Bodykick by Chuck. spinning back kick by Chuck but misses and too late.

Chuck raises his arm but the crowd is booing.
