Round 1
Grice came out aggressive and threw Black to the canvas. Black then went from a Kimura from his back, but Grice was able to clear his opponent's guard to escape the hold. Near the end of the round, Black again went for a Kimura from the bottom, and had it deep with a closed-guard as times expired. The first frame went to Jason Black.
Round 2
Excellent action in the second stanza. Grice came out and busted Black with a left hand that sent him crashing to the canvas. Grice pounced and blasted away with strikes from the top, nearly finishing the fight. Black then rolled Grice over and slapped on a triangle-choke from the top position, and then returned the favor with vicious punches to the head of Grice. The referee easily could have stepped in but he let the round close with Black teeing off.
Round 3
Grice started the third with a decent punch that backed Black up. Grice then dropped levels for a takedown, but Black immediately jumped to guard with a guillotine choke. Grice escaped and controlled his opponent for the duration of the bout from the top. Black had nothing in the third. The judges see it 29-28 for Black, 29-28 for Grice, and 28-28. The bout is ruled a split draw.
An announcement was then made in the arena that the scores had been miscalculated. Grice was awarded the victory, but scores were not announced.
Round 1
Burkman clinched to start the bout and tripped Petz to the floor. Petz then used the cage to work to his feet, but Burkman locked in a guillotine choke. Petz escaped after roughly a minute, and fell victim to another Burkman takedown.
Round 2
Burkman started strong again in the second, but it was Petz who took control. After shaking off a Burkman takedown attempt, Petz absolutely teed off for the rest of the frame with strikes from several angles. Digging shots to the body, sharp work to the head and the occasional knee from the clinch secures the round for Petz
Round 3
Petz controlled most of the final round with punches from the outside before he was dropped with a left hook near the three minute mark. Burkman then went for a guillotine and finished the round strong with strikes from the top position. Split decision for Josh Burkman.
Round 1
Maia quickly took the action to the canvas with a low single-leg takedown. Off a scramble, Maia took Jensen's back and secured both hooks. Jensen fought to avoid a choke for about 90 seconds, but Maia sunk his arm under Jensen's neck and forced a tapout at 2:40 with a rear-naked choke.
Round 1
MacDonald tried early to take the fight to the floor, but Okami defended well and pawed away with a jab. With a minute left in the frame, Okami turned it up and scored with left hooks and a crisp combo.
Round 2
Both fighters traded punches with nothing solid landing in the second round's opening minute. Okami defended the takedown and continued to strike lightly. Okami then tripped MacDonald to the mat, where he stood up in his opponent's guard and hammered away with heavy punches. MacDonald picked the ankle from below, but Okami recovered and retook the top.
Round 3
More of the same in the third. Okami controlled from beginning to end, and saw dominant positions in the third such as mount, side-control and back-mount. MacDonald defended well but offered nothing in terms of offense. All three judges see the bout 30-27 for Yushin Okami.
Kalib comes out looking for takedown but Alan able to punch and even throw a flying knee. They end up in a clinch and Kalib able to take Alan down but Alan immediately pops up to his feet. Kalib is bleeding from his head. Elbow by Alan. Another flying knee by Alan followed by an elbow. Kalib doing some good boxing combinations with his long arm. Leg kick by Alan. An uppercut by Alan and knees. Kalib's face is bloody. Leg kick by Kalib. Good punching combination by Alan and a knee. Kalib goes for the takedown but Alan defends and lands another knee. Leg kick by Alan. And another. Kalib is hanging in there. Very strong showing for Alan. I would give him the round.
Both fighters exchanging punches standing up. Kalib able to land some punches but Alan just smiles and continues with his assault of punches followed by knees. Kalib also tries for the knee. Kalib is breathing heavy. Referee stops the fight to check on Kalib's cut. The cut is so big that the doctor had to stop the fight. Kalib is seen very upset.
Stephan wants to stand while Eric tries for his first takedown but Stephan able to defend. They ends up in a clinch with both fighters trying to knee each other. Eric throws the leg kick and holds on to Stephan to get him to the ground. Eric holding onto Bonnar as he tries to stand up. Eric able to pick up Stephan and take him down. Eric tries to control the back, has both hooks in. Stephan just being patient and block the punches. Eric trying for the rear naked choke with 40 seconds left but Stephan able to escape and reverse the position. Eric holding on to an arm for kimura but the bell rings. It's a close round. Probably Eric wins the round for getting Stephan in a dangerous position.
Eric immediately goes in for the clinch. Eric pulls guard to get Stephan on the ground. Stephan trying to land some punches from the top. Stephan able to land some big punches. Stephan trying to pull one leg out to get the full mount but Eric is doing a good job of holding onto that leg. Stephan landing some damaging punches while Eric is just covering up. Referee stops the fight as Eric was not able to intelligently defend himself.
They both comes out punching but Jorge able to land on top and get the guard position. Alvin defending well from the bottom position. Jorge trying to land some elbows and punches from the top. Alvin tries to scramble but Jorge able to keep up and work up to a side control. Jorge able to get to the north south position, but Alvin buckles and Jorge able to maintain the side control. Alvin using the cage to work up a better position but Jorge able to keep up and stay on top. Jorge able to finally get to the full mount but the bell rings.
Alvin lands some good combinations and a knee. Alvin with the takedown and Jorge at the bottom. Jorge goes for the armbar but Alvin able to defend. Alvin tries to get the back position. Alvin tries for the kimura but Jorge able to scramble to get the top full guard position. Alvin able to reverse the position while trying for oma platta. Alvin trying to land some punches and elbows from the top position. Jorge eating some shots while trying to isolate the arm. Alvin lands some really big shots, Jorge's face is bloody, taking some major shots. Jorge barely survives the round as the bell rings.
