Tanner seen as the aggressive one pushing the pace while Okami just looking for the perfect timing. A leg kick by Okami. A good right hand and left hook by Tanner. Okami knocked down Tanner with a left straight punch and quickly moves into finish him. Tanner able to recover and stand up to a clinch position. Yushin pushes away from the clinch. Okami has the thai clinch but unable to do much damage with the knee. Exchange of punches and kicks. Close round but probably goes to Okami for the knock down.
Series of leg kicks by Tanner to start the round. Okami works the punching combinations. A nice bodykick by Okami. A straight kick by Tanner and a miss. Okami has Tanner in the thai clinch again but lets go. A good combination punches by Okami. Tanner has Okami against the fense and trying for the takedown but unsuccessful. Okami throws the knee from the thai clinch and drops Tanner. The referee steps into stop the fight.
Leben comes out aggressive, leading with leg kicks. Good exchange of punches by both fighters. Leben seen charging in wanting to exchange, while Sakara wanting to pick his punches carefully. Sakara lands some good punches as well. Flurry of punches by Leben finally caught up to Sakara and knocks him down. Leben quickly jumps into to finish the fight and Herb Dean steps into stop the fight. Sakara is seen upset with the decision.
Heath comes out strong and right away lands a punch that rocks Kongo. They end up in a clinch. Kongo able to take Heath down but Heath able to get up. Kongo again takes Heath down but Heath able to reverse and get on top. Kongo able to get back up. Heath has the guillotine but doesn't appear to be close. Kongo lands some knees to the legs. Kongo able to pick Heath up and has the full mount position against the fence. Kongo landing some punches to the body while Heath is holding on tight. Heath able to roll over and reverse the position. Kongo also gets up and they end up in a clinch. Heath falls down hoping to take Kongo down but Kongo reverse and has Heath's back and lands some big punches from behind. Heath able to get out but Kongo still on top landing body shots.
Heath again comes out fast but they end up in a clinch and Kongo able to fall and get on the top position. Kongo landing punches from the top while Heath also trying to land some bodyshot from the bottom. Heath connecting with an upkick. Finally the referee stands heath up. Quickly, they end up in a clinch and Kongo landing some knees to the legs. Kongo picks up both of Heath legs for another takedown and has the North South position. Kongo rolls around and now has Heath's back. Heath reverse and has the top position and lands some punches to Kongo's midsection from the side control. A big knees to the side by Heath from the side control. Knee after knee for some big damages. Kongo trying to elbow Heath's head from the bottom as Heath continues to Knee.
Kicks by both fighters and fell down. Kongo able to scramble and has Heath's back. Kongo now returning the favor by throwing the knees to Heath's side. Kongo trying for the rear naked choke but quickly Heath gets out. Heath pushes Kongo against the fence, Kongo again ends up on top with has Heath's back. Heath holding onto Kongo's leg, and rolls over to the top position. Heath has the side control and lands some punches. Heath now has the North South position and lands body punches. Kongo tightly holding on. Flurry of punches and elbows from Heath with 90 seconds left. Kongo's ground game, although improved, still appears to be his weak points. Heath continues to pour punches from the top and doing some damages. Heath now has the full mount position and Kongo rolls over but back to full mount. The round ends as Heath continues to pour down punches.
Feeling out process. A leg kick by Henderson followed by another. A leg kick by Anderson and Henderson tried to come from the top. Anderson throws a high kick. A front kick by Anderson. Two more kicks by Anderson. Dan clinched and able to take Anderson down. Dan landing some hammer punches to Anderson's head. Anderson not able to do anything but holding on tight. Anderson is controlling Dan's leg so Dan's not able to better to more dominant position. More hammer fists by Dan. Dan covering up Anderson's mouth to disrupt the breathing. Dan now has the side control. Anderson spins out but Dan again has the full guard position but the round ends. A great round for Dan Henderson,
Anderson more aggressive now with kicks. Dan tries a kick and Anderson counters with punches. High kick by Anderson. Clinch and Anderson has the top position. Body punches by Anderson. Henderson able to stand up and landing some knees to Anderson's legs. Anderson throwing punches to Henderson's body from the clinch. Dan trying to take Anderson down to the ground but Anderson able to defend. Good right hand by Henderson. Anderson lands a knee from the thai clinch and another. Anderson has the top position and able to land a big elbow to the head. Anderson is in half guard and Dan is holding on tight to avoid damage. Anderson able to use his long arms to land some punches to Dan's head. Anderson has Dan's back with a minute left. Anderson has the back mount and throwing down punches. Anderson has the body triangle and continues land punches to Dan's head. Anderson has the hooks in and gets the rear naked choke. Dan is forced to tapout.
