Dan Henderson has never been knocked out and has been submitted in the past by Nogueira, the same Brazilian who also trained with Silva.

Dan clearly won the first round and had the perfect game plan. Silva was able to adjust in the second round and used his striking to soften up Dan and displayed his submission skill mostly overlooked.

Thanks for the write up. Glad I didnt pay for a fight that ended in the second round. Thats the worst thing about MMA. You never know what kind of show youre going to get.

Agreed, Henderson being KO'ed would've been even bigger than tapping him. But....Silva has been submitted more times in MMA than Henderson. And Henderson has been in there with some big names submission guys and won so it's still a big deal. Props to Sivla, I didn't think he was going to do it.

You mean get off his losing streak of 1 straight loss?? He only lost to Rampage since his last win against Wanderlai. He's now on a losing "streak" of 2 losing both of his belts in the process, which is kinda sad. Hopefully he gets the chance to pull some wins together with less pressure on his back.
