UFC 87: AUGUST 9, 2008 IN MINNEAPOLIS

Demian comes out kicking, Jason clinches and easily takes Demain down and has the guard position. Jason trying to better his position but Demian doing a good job of defneding and is trying for the triangle choke. Jason is in big trouble. Jason was able to get out and has Demain's back, going for the rear naked choke. Demain able to slip and Jason has the top position, from side control to half guard. After several shuffle, Jason able to trying for the guillotine choke. Somehow, Demian able to escape with bloody face and has Jason in rear naked choke from the back with 37 seconds left in the first round. Jason able to survive the round.
They decide to stand and strike initially and it looked like Jason was rocked with the punch and goes for the clinch. From the clinch position, both fighters able to do some damage with rabbit punches and knees. Demain able to take Jason down and has the full mount position. Demain landing some punches from the top position, Jason trying to turn but eats a lot of damaging elbows. Jason trying to run but Demain able to keep him in position while landing elbow after elbow. Jason is bleeding. Jason is eating punches after punches but still defending enough to avoid fight being called off so far. Jason able to escape with 20 seconds left and has the top position hoping to return some of the favor but the round quickly ends.
Demain goes for the single leg and has it. Jason going for the guillotine but Demain quickly able to escape and also tries for the unsuccessful guillotine. Jason on top, has Demian against the fence. Demain able to roll and has the full mount position with 3 minutes remaining. The elbows starts to fly again, Jason turns his back. Demian has the hooks in, trying for the rear naked choke and Jason finally taps.
Leg kick by Roger. Leg kick by Kenny. Another leg kick by Roger, and Kenny. After leg kick by Roger, Kenny able to take him down and has the full mount position against the fence. Roger gives up the back and Kenny has the hooks in and has flatted out Roger. Roger covering up. Roger trying to stand back up and escaped. High kick by Kenny and a miss. Roger going for the takedown and has the clinch against the fence. Rabbit punches by Roger, followed by elbow from Kenny. Again, they end up in a clinch, Kenny tries for the knee. Kenny more light on his feet and able to land few punches before the round ends. Close round but more edge to Kenny.
Kenny lands the high kick. Big kick by Roger and they end up in a clinch. Roger trying to take Kenny's single leg but Kenny able to escape. Kenny goes for the single and Roger is going for the kimura. Kenny still hands on to the leg and has the back position, with the hooks in. Kenny landing punches, and Roger able to pop out. Both fighters standing, Kenny able to trip Roger down but Roger quickly gets up. Another clinch, Kenny has the muay thai clinch, lands some uppercuts. Kenny able to land some punches and kicks as the round ends. Another close but big round for Kenny.
Front kick by Kenny, Kenny dugs under Rogers kick and tries for the takedown. Roger able to get up. Kenny lands the flying knee. Kenny has the guard position from the top and trying some some punches and elbows. Roger counters with elbows and upkicks. Back up to their feet, Roger now trying to land some knees from the clinch. Roger able to land some punches. A big knee by Kenny, followed by a high kick. Kenny still light on his feet, moves well. A front kick by Kenny and lands on Roger's chin. Roger trying to push the pace but Kenny able to moe well and throw punches of his own. A big round hand by Roger. Knee by Kenny. A big swing and a miss by Roger. High kick by Kenny that was blocked. Roger throws the high kick and slips. Kenny has put the exclamation point to the round by near takedown and vicious knees and punches.
Both comes out swining, Rob able to land a punch that knocked down Manny and was able to finish the fight by quickly following up with punches to downed Manny.
The replay showed Rob's left punch while both of the fighters were trying to get up knocked out Manny, and referee rightfully stopped the fight.
After both fighters trying to feel each other with jabs and leg kicks, Kongo able to pick up Dan and took him down. Kongo kicking the legs of downed Dan. Dan also trying to throw some kicks from the ground but the referee stands him up. Kongo has Dan in clinch against the fence. Dan trying for the guillotine but Kongo able to pull his head out. Dan trying again but not successful. Konogo has Dan down on the ground, throwing elbows and punches. Konogo again kicking the legs of downed Dan and referee stands them up. Big leg kick by Dan and a miss. Kongo lands a punch that knocks Dan down and quickly followed up with flurry of punches. The referee stops the fight with 5 seconds left.
Brock comes out with flying kneee . Brock lands a punch that knocked down Heath and he quickly jumps on him. Brock has the standing guillotine choke going. Heath able to still throw punches to the body with his face looking bloddy. Brock lets go, and quickly able to take Heath down to the ground. Brock has the top position from Heath's back and land some damaging punches to the head. Heath tries to roll over but Brock able to maintain the same position. Heath complaining about getting hit in the back of the head but referee doesn't respond. A big knee to the body by Brock. Elbow to the head by Brock. Heath trying to get out and Brock is able to keep the body control and maintain the same dominant position. Lots of big knees to the body but Brock unable to finish the fight as the first round comes to the end.
Brock quickly charges in for the takedown but Heath able to defend it. From clinch, Brock able to easily take Heath down and has the same top position from the back as the First Round. Brock quickly works to the side control and trying to land punches to the head. Heath tries to roll but ends up with Brock having the full mount position. Heath rolls over and gave up the back instead. Brock doesn't have the hooks in. Brock in side control again and throws the knees to Heath's body. Heath is looking bloody, and battered from the bottom position. Heath continues to roll and able to stand the fight up. Brock tries for the standing guillotine but not successful. Heath throwing some punches to the body, but takes big knees from Brock. Heath now trying knees to the body.
They quickly end up in a clinch, with Brock having Heath against the fence and throwing knees. Heath tries to run and gives up his back and ends up on the ground with Brock on top. Knees to the body by Brock. Brock completely dominating and controlling the entire fight, has the full mount position. Heath rolls and able to get out of it, back to same position with Brock on top. A big knee to the body by Brock again. Heath able to get back to his feet, but Brock quickly grabs him and takes him down against the fence. Heath from the bottom, just trying to cover up and survive the round. Brock having the top position, but don't have any arsenal to finish the fight. Heath squirms, while Brock just rides him and shortly had the full mount but Heath rolls over and the round ends. Brock appears to be very happy with his performance.
Jon tries for the punch but GSP quickly takes Jon down. Jon able to defend well from the ground. GSP land some punches to Jon's head. And an elbow. Jon tries to roll but GSP able to quickly take him down again. Fit gets up, while eating GSP's punch. GPS throws a big right hand that knocked Jon down. GSP trying to finish early by throwing down big elbow and punches. Jon able to recover and is back to half guard position. GSP is continuing to throw punches to Jon's head. Jon is back to his feet but very wobbly. GSP again land punches that knocked Jon down and is continuing to throw elbows down from the guard position. Jon is bloodied up quite a bit. GSP has the side control and is the first time someone has ever passed the guard on Jon. GSP now has the full mount with less than 10 seconds and Jon able to roll and survives the round.
