During the interview, GSP said he's glad Matt won but he was not impressed with Matt's performance that night. He should've showed little more respect.

My thoughts on the fights. Feel free to agree or disagree.
Pulver was caught suprised by the aggressiveness of his unknown opponent. Even though during the interview he made no excuses and say he did not underestimate his opponent, he was not the aggressive one and got caught with a left that knocked him out.
David Loiseau also could've used some aggressiveness. They traded some punches and kicks that weren't that effective. Swick took down Loiseau few times in the first and second round that gave him the rounds. David came out swining on the third round and Swick was trying to last through the round and he did. David landed some hard punches and elbows but not enough to knock Swick out and since he was already behind in points, he just couldn't win the decision.
BJ was impressive. Matt's game plan of standing up was costing him some bloody face and nose. But when he went for the takedown, BJ defended so well and made Matt frustrating and use up a lot of energy. Matt finally had BJ on his back in the second round but BJ's flexiblity made it diificult for Matt to submit him and BJ did incredible reverse to catch Matt's arm and almost submitted him if it wasn't for the bell. BJ came out so flat in the third round all Matt had to do is take him down and force his will on him.
I can only imagine what could've been if BJ was in shape to go five rounds, like Matt was. BJ had the better skills first two rounds but didn't have enough gas to go further. That seems to be his down fall.
