Gotta agree with Joe and Tri here. Top level fighters are testo-driven so ego is going to be pretty much universal. You're talking about guys who enjoy smacking the cr@p out of people so that's what you have to expect. Still kudos to Lesner on his win. He is a talented athlete and maybe will help the heavywieght division in it's ratings war against the ever popular light heavywieght division.

complete,

Thanks for the great round by round. I feel like I was there. I was glad Florian won even though I like Joe. I thought that it was a great matchup. I root for Florian because he has the same body type as I (albeit I have an ancient version). Can anybody identify with rooting for a fighter because they might think the fighter has the same body type, style or strategy? I wanted Randy to win but age catches up to everybody. My father used to use that old quote that 'tide & time wait for no man'. Again, complete, you did a great job of 'bringin it'. I have been in a tailspin lately because of this recession but this was really uplifting stuff.

Tom

Thanks, Sensei Tom. Unfortunately, I was not able to watch the event live and had to get the info from elsewhere.... Maybe I can do the play by play on the next one.
