Episode 6

The highly anticipated and hyped up fight between Jeremy May and Matt Brown. I was a bit disappointed with Matt's performance, even though he won by KO. Jeremy came out more aggressively and landed some good punches. Matt's ground game wasn't very good but he was able to come out with KO when Jeremy ran out of gas in the late first round.

Luke and Dan's fight was OK. Team Rampage finally got a win after 4 consecutive losses. It will be interesting to see who they pick as next fight.

Overall, I'd say the quality of the fighters are much better this season than all previous seasons. Maybe it's because they've already seen the show and they all had to win a fight to get in the house.

I don't know who's the favorite to win the whole thing yet.

I agree, Jeremy and Matt both were disappointing. Matt was the more disappointing - it looked as though he was either trying to keep himself in check so as not to hurt Jeremy or he was just dumbfounded at Jereemy's aggressive start. It would have been interesting to see how the fight would have went if Jeremy didn't run out of gas. You gotta admit, that was a pretty cool knockout, looked like something you see in a movie the way he fell.

Luke and Dan had a classic slugfest. Neither fighter had much power behind the punches but man did they ever connect time and time again. Made it exciting to see all the shots thrown and landed. Both those guy were running on empty - I don't think these guys have worked on their cardio enough, it seems like everyone is getting winded by the end of round 1. You don't see that in the premiere UFC fighters - these guys still have a way to go.

Episode 6

I was just going to watch the fights when my wife walked in and said "I'm not watching that." I could not argue because I had monopolized the TV earlier watching Clay Guida v Tyson Griffen. By the way, even though it was an old fight it was a great one. So I appreciate your posts on the fights. Anybody know if they hit you-tube yet?

Thanks,
Tom
