Maybe Dana is right. UK team is looking better than the US team. US team didn't start off good with 1 guy with herpes and another guy not making the weight. Some good potential guys here and there but I'm not sure.

What did you guys think?
I gotta agree...I thought the UK team looked much better. Some of the US guys that won, didn't seem as intense as some of the UK guys that lost IMHO. And to me, Dan Henderson didn't look like he was that confident with the guys that he had and the end of the show.

This season is bugging me a little bit because, a guy that was on my team tried out for the show again a second time, passed all the fighter evaluations done by Dana and Joe Silva went to Vegas for the physical and stuff came back from that and we were pretty confident because when they rolled he pretty much beat all the light weights and yet again the Spike producers passed because they didn't feel there would be enough audience appeal. Even though he left the team I still think he would have done very well against the light weights on there and plus since he was a former Greco national champ he would have really benefited from working with Dan. I hate that it's not 100% about who the best fighter is.
I'm sure the fighter selection process may not perfect. I agree it should be all about who the best fighters are. But since it is for a TV show, maybe they do pick the ones with more audience appeal. It would've been so cool to have one of Tri's guy on the show.

I thought some of the U.S. guys were pretty impressive. I thought that kid who looked like carrot top was a great striker. I thought the US winners were pretty vicious. The Santino kid made one hell of a comeback showing great heart as well. I agree though that the herpes and the guy not making weight was a set back. I can't believe Junie Browning's brother is gunna be on the show. Junie was the buggest punk so far.
