I'm not a master with daisho (katana/wakizashi) yet, but it is still my weapon of choice. I've got a katana already...Wakizashi, here I come...

I recently bought a tanto, bokken, and a stand for 3 swords. Now my bokken and newly pronounced daiso are on display in style.

I'm 14. Legal age is 18. I had my mommy with me when I got them. (DAMN I can't wait 'till I'm 18)

It varies place by place. Check local laws.

I have always favored what would be the equivalent of a large bastard sword or a european two handed sword.
I haven't trained with one for a while, but I was devistatingly good with it. Most of my training revolves around the Katana right now which is a close second.

Basically you can buy almost anything if it is for 'show' purposes, like many expect a claymore to be. Truthfully you can get away with a lot if it never leaves your backyard.

Yep. If you don't plan on it leaving your property, all you've got to worry about is getting the sword.

My favourite weapon is nothing as flash as most of you guys. i would chose the kubotan.

Easily carried at all times in some form or other. Increases the power of strikes and especially good at hitting nerve points.

I can use it for locking, striking & manipulating, class!

weapons...

Cool topic. After practicing a few different weapons, I can say I most prefer the Bo Staff (4') due to its versatility as a strong offensive and defensive weapon. It can be used unexpectedly and with speed. A weapon I think would be just devestating if someone were to master, however, is the Kusarikama (sickle with a chain at the end). I've built a battle-ready sickle-chain but its darned difficult to use properly.
