daggertail?
what's a daggertail? Also if you look at my Avatar, I'm posing with a weapon I designed myself, a 2' chain with nylon straps that go on the hands, allow me to execute my normal strikes, but also adds that chain for excellent, holds, locks, throws, and weapon defense. The Bokken is awesome though, because it doesn't fall into the same category as a 'sword' you can cary it around the city with you.

actually what you made uor self is preety much a daaggertail.A daggertail is just a long chain with hooks on it,and you could have whatever weapon you want on the end of it.Is it a real weapon, that what i'm not sure about, wich is why I should be stop talking about it right now.

I was thinking of getting a kubotan for self defence on the street. It's got to be made of metal though, I hate plastic on weapons. My katana's scabbard is plastic and not very durable plastic either. Thank God that the sword itself is top quality and plasticless.

I like the rattan sticks used by Arnistadors, Escrimadors and in Kali. These types of weapons or sticks can be found almost anywhere. There are sticks laying on the ground outside or a cane or umbrella work well. Their training also entails empty hand or a combo of both. There are no laws against them & they are easy to hide & versatile.
Thanks,

I changed my mind of what I prefer.I prefer the bokken,or bokuto. With a good degree of self control, you can subdue your enemy, without causing pain or death.

Powerful weapon indeed. I like the ninja star. They can pierce skin and I like to throw objects. The nunchucks are really awesome. You have to have the skill of staying focused with the nunchucks, but once you get it down it's kool to use during combat.

The three section staff seems to be really hard to learn but that would be cool because not a lot of people that I know, have learned to use that weapon.
I love the escrima and the bo staff. They seem to be the most readily available weapons to find if you need one and you don't happen to be carrying one with you. (Which is 99 percent of the time.) However, I've always wanted to learn how to use the sai.
There are so many weapons that can be used to our disposal that it hard to choose which weapon you want to use. You'll are opening up my eyes for what else is out there to use as a weapon.
