This is a difficult choice.
Among the weapons that I currently know how to use, I think that I would have to say that I prefer the Ieku, an Okinawan boat oar.
While I am not a master of the Ieku, by any stretch of the imagination, it's a lot of fun to work with and is an absolutely devastating weapon.

Well so to speak I am my primary choice of weapon, im fairly flexible at defense and offense and I normally have me with me.
But an actual weapon has to be the jo or bo staff, great for using opponents strength against them, not too complicated and fumbly, simple and to the point, why bother with all these fancy sharp stabbing objects when you can batter your opponent with a stick. Its cheap to use, good foundation weapon, good fun, principles of it can be applied to other things that you might have available on the street

I'm more proficient and accostomed to a Bo staff but I'm learning to adapt to a Jo staff for more practical reasons. It a tad shorter than the Bo but it changes my game plan so I have a learning cuve to deal with so I'm not very proficient yet.

I'll have to read what you said again but, I feel that I understand what you are saying.

Hopefully we're going to get one or two of the uniforms from MMPR in teh Martial Arts History Museum some time, I know we have two of the ones from the live action TMNT movies, I think Mike's and Leo's
