This is the Weapon Generics thread. It will be the accumulative source of all of our knowledge of weapons. Each post may list one weapon, and a description of it and how/why it has been used. You may also include pictures of the weapon to give us a better understanding of it. Users may make more than one post, but only one weapon per post.

Claymore:A Scottish double-edged broadsword developed in the Medieval period. It is slightly smaller than a regular Medieval broadsword.
It was used by the Scottish in many clan wars and skirmishes with the English of that time period.

Escrima/Kali/Arnis sticks: made of lightweight yet durable Filipino rattan. The most common weapon used in training is a rattan stick about the length of the practitioner's arm. Some schools prefer sticks of a particular length, while others expect students to learn which techniques are appropriate for a variety of lengths. Other sticks used for training and for some duels are made of hardwood, such as molave or kamagong, that is burned and hardened. The sticks used in Arnis are usually made out of wood, or rattan 70 cm long and about 2 cm in diameter. The length can vary from 30 cm to 220 cm. They can also be made out of aluminum or other metals, or modern high-impact plastics.

Katana A nihontō, or commonly known as katana in the English community, is a traditional Japanese sword. It was often paired with the Japanese short sword, or wakizashi. It is a curved, single-edged long sword traditionally used by the samurai.
Styles: Cloak and Sabre,longsword style wuthout a name.

I deleted the sitation,cause it didnt work,
Talwar: A medieval sabre dating to at least 13 century. It
ios similar,but wider than the Shamshir,and kilic.I'll have to
look up what the difference is between a Scimitar and a Talwar.
Just look up define talwar on a search engine.
