I agree the best defense is just give them your wallet/car keys, whatever. Unless you really believe the person with the gun is going to squeeze that trigger anyway, there is no reason to put yourself at more risk over something that can be replaced.
I once was able to Pak Sau a bullet.

The reason I ask is that I had a flashback to my hapkido class where we covered gun defense and a lot of the moves had us grabbing the gun...but we never learned how to actually use a gun, which didnt make too much sense.
Fill a battery-powered water gun with red kool aid and see if you or people who train with you, can disarm without getting squirted.

However, the one factor of the gun is intimidation without effort.

Revolvers are hardly used in the US from criminals, so practicing the thumb in the hammer catch can be useless.

Gun muggings usually occur when someone is in the opportunistic element of the mugger.

LOL I guess I have more training to do to get to that level. Although I think using the Wu Sau and just splitting the bullet in half in mid flight would be best. I mean if your gonna super-hero it up, you might as well look good doing it

Thinking of bullets, isnt there a new movie comming out, "Wanted", or something, with Angelima Jollie and "gifted assassins"?
