Weapons of Legend
Troughout history, some weapons have been made legedary. Since this is the weapons section, I think it would be interesting to discuss some of them here. These are a few that I know of, or recently found out about. Continue to add, as we discuss the topic of legendary weapons
Couldn't find much info on this on weapon, nor anything in wikipedia, so I'll just type what I know. Persain myth has it that it belonged to King Solomon. It was like a bane weapon and the only one that could kill a demon(according to myth)I don't know this myth, just heard about it so more info if anyone knows of this one is welcomed, but I do know that in the bible, king solomon asked for his sword in deciding the case with the two women who claimed that a baby were theirs. He was going to cut the baby in half, and give half to each woman. This is how he decided who the true mother was. Anyway, I wonder if this is the same sword in the "myth"
Are there anymore Weapons of Legend that you all know of, please add. There are a couple more that I found that I did not add, mostly because my computer is acting up and probally will be for the entire week. I look forward to the discussion of these legendary weapons, and how they became so legedary, and if indeed they did exist, or are they just fictional???

There is actually a lot legendary and mythical weapons around, as well as from various cultures. I listed only a few, but there are still many I don't know. Know of any???
Some of these weapons are said to have actually existed in history....whether they did or not, they are a legend or a myth for a reason.....I think the discussion of these weapons in legend and myth would be interesting
theres also another one i learned about, i dont know the name but i know that it was supposed to be a magical japanees sword. It could turn into any weapon at the wielder's will, but only certain people could wield it.
The Hrunting was a broadsword used by Beowulf. He tried to use it against the Grendel's Mother but it could not pierce her skin. So he ended up using another sword (forgot the name) to decapitate her. However her blood corroded the blade of the second sword.
that is good stuff, history is always interesting!!! i don't know much about legendary swords but i'm willing to learn. keep up the research Black Dragon.
I found another one from "Heroes", forgot what it's called but it was a Samurai sword that was once found hidden in the snow by a samurai who had amazing power but couldn't focus it, wielding the sword he could feel his power focused and became a major warlord.
I don't know if this is a true historical weapon or if it was just made up by the writers of heroes

How about Cupid's Arrow??
With Valentines day right around the corner
For you married guys like myself,
DON'T FORGET, because your better half will make you suffer, and she will NEVER FORGET
My "better half" is not into Valentines Day.
She has the position that it is another commercially formed holiday.
She is "low maintenance". Meaning that she doesnt desire cany, perfumes, jewelry, as such. She is old fashion that she desires everything in the houshole right and organized. Excessive spending for simple desires is not part of this. If I bring home candy or flowers, that is where the arguements start.
She tells me anytime I do something for her special, is Valentines.
However, the wedding annversary is a must. I take her to her favorite restaurant, a movie, or whatever she desires. Also, I have decorative plant delivered to her place of employment.
To many males, Cupid is a Demon disgised as a Angel. Think about it, he had dominion over the dead in Hades.
