My father in law uses his truck for hunting. Chevy Kwan Do may be a worth while style with the amount of jerky he sends us every year.

A robber jumps in through your window, and there's you handcuffed to your couch in hot pants and a gimp mask witha 9 ft whip with purple tassels on the end... I guess that could work.

A hot girl with whip. The robber might just surrender himself right there, not even a fight. Give it to me baby, yeah!

Yes a rhino would probably count as one weapon... Can't really pick them up down the local martial arts shop though! And they smell...

I have a whip with tassles... actually it's more like a riding crop... but the tassles are pink... it's a good addition to the collection!

I've never had a fight with someone using a guan dao before, would be a lot of fun they look very dangerous in the right hands! Shame you're in a different country really or some sparring could be in order!

It would be my honour to engage in friendly combat, its a great weapon but not exactly something you see everyday, prehaps thats why i like it so much. Actually im going to inspect new stock at my chine friends shop, i believe theyre by the Hanwei company, very nice but too expensive for battle application.

Since I'm from Canton, I think I'd be fighting for Wu. What are the differences between a naginata and guan doa?

The guan dao is a heavier weapon and the blade is broader. Its been forever since I've seen a naginata form, so I'm not sure on the difference in use. I'm assuming with the diffeerence in how they are built that the guan dao uses broader strokes to use its weight in the cut.

Best not project your fantasies onto others GoddeBPM, or are you talking from experience?

Anyways, here is a modern representation of a dirk. A more classical take would be straight smooth blade, one edged, bone or wood handle, around 14 inches long. Good for fighting in the off hand, or when backed into a corner. Useually hidden in the kilt folds or boot.
