Home Country: | Tae Kwon Do has definitely influenced my life. I'm more adept at seeing problems and de-escalating the situation before it get out of control. It has also helped me to keep calm when my parents have medical problems and need the ambulance to take them. I don't panic, but do what I have to do (I did mouth to mouth on my dad when he had four bad heart attacks--the first one was in the house when he stopped breathing. The heart didn't stop until the EMTs pulled up in the Rescue Unit. Talk about fear--there was plenty. I didn't lose it until the EMTs walked in the door and took over). Dad is much better now and still with us. He has had some setbacks, but that is to be expected. |

Home Country: | Yeah, I often find my self sinking into a horse stance because that has become the most comfortable way to stand.

Home Country: | I practice it as much as I can, my parents really don't help it much... they weren't even bothered when I was knocked out during the match... big whup.
Anyway It has been a big part, it has really helped to stop bullies, I haven't even had to fight them, all it took was the rumor that the "Foreign Kid does martial arts" and I was immediately freed from that.
