Young Martial ArtistsPlace for young martial artists (under 18) to discuss topics that pertains to their age group
I don't know anyone well enough on this forum to say who I'd like to train under so I'll pick someone else that is known nationally and world wide. I'd pick Pablo Popovitch.
Addition: I just noticed this is in the Young Martial Artists forum, which is usually reserved for stylists under 18. I hope you guys don't mind us old fellas chiming in.
Oh man, now the olds are on this thread, it ain't choice no more.
probably thems fighting words, he seems to talk sense.
and chapel, complete as well, and TFG although im not a competitor I think theres a lot to learnt from MMA, gambatte karate because I liked the look of his vids, souldrum and lady fighter.
Basically its all good, I never regret training with anyone so I always enjoy trainiing with everyone.
If I could train under anyone it would have to be Triangle he knows all the styles I want to learn... He also seems like some that would help me learn everything I could and, would help me reach my goal at learning them.
Styles: TKD, Tang Soo Do, Kenpo, Hapkido, JKD Concepts

I would have to say JOE/TRI. Assuming we are dealing with two people. And everyone knows the saying about assumption. Both of their schools would be an opportunity for me to improve my weak ground game.

The black belt is not a mark or symbol of the end of the journey to ones mastery of the arts; rather it is the mark that one is done packing for their journey and may now take the first step in their true journey. This a journey which can not ever be complete, only traveled..."

Totally Complete. He's way into korean MA which is definitely my cup of tea. Gotta stick with what I know for now. And he seems really laid back. Which is cool.
If I had my black in TSD i'd want to cross train in something, probably grappling because there is none in TSD, so Joe a.k.a. Tri.
Maybe Chapel, since he does KMA. And because his wit entertains me.

We do not rise to the occasion in combat. We fall back on our training.
